Cédula (DIAN)

Spanish to English Law/Patents Law: Taxation & Customs Declaración de renta, cédula, Colombia

Peer comment(s):

neutral philgoddard : No, it's part of a tax return.

Yes, it's an official record submitted as part of a tax return, not the return itself.

Return

Declined
In this context it is a tax return on which types of income are reported.
Peer comment(s):

neutral philgoddard : Again, it's a schedule, part of a return. The words are similar in Spanish and English.

agree Adrian MM. : Phil G. is right for the USA https://www.investopedia.com/terms/t/taxschedule.asp but, otherwise oddly with a UK accountancy qualification, wrong for the UK as a 'schedular' tax bracket https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schedular_system_of_taxation

Schedule
(with reference to an income tax system) any of the forms (named “A,” “B,” etc.) issued for completion and relating to the various classes into which taxable income is divided.

Note from asker:
Not even the same field... Would it make sense to say "pensions schedule"?
Thank you, this one seemed the most appropriate and what I ended up using. Sadly, it's a reference comment, so I can't give it the award D:

neutral Adrian MM. : Right for the USA, wrong for the UK of your a/cs qual. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schedular_system_of_taxation // what it's called in the USA may also be irrelevant to the asker and I've also had more Colombian friends than you have had hot dinners.

Yet again, what they call it in the UK is irrelevant. This is about Colombia, a South American country you may have heard of.
