Portuguese term

acerco anexo

Portuguese to English Law/Patents Law (general)
The term appears twice in a Brazilian Portuguese "Escritura pública de divórcio" both times between brackets after 1st Subdistrict like this;

My guess is it means something like "and surrounding area"
Any ideas?

@ Jack It looks like the term refers to the venue, then. This may be an annex office or building of the 1st subdistrict. So the term would be part of the name of the office and its address. Does that make sense?

Looking again., the second use is a bit different, it doesn't mention any document, but states "As partes requerem e autorizam o Oficial de RCPN de Itajuba - Cartorio de Registro Civil - 1o Subdistrito (acerco anexo) - MG, à efetuars as averbacoes necessárias.....
Jack Martin (asker) Jan 25:
I am just a bit worried that if I put "document attached" then if there are no documents attached it may be a problem.
I was thinking it may be a typo for "Acervo Anexo" (the c and v are next to each other) and there are lots of cartorio related hits for that... Annexed Collection? hmmm
Mario Freitas Jan 25:
@ Jack Considering the phrase stars with "... certidão de casamento" and goes all the way to "Subdistrito", the entire phrase refers to this document, and the text mentions it is attached thereto. Please note "acerco" also means near or about, so "acerco anexo", IMO, is simply attached hereto. But we can't be sure, really.
Mario Freitas Jan 25:
Ofício Phil, please note "ofício" can also be a document (although not a Certidão). A document like a "notice" is an ofício as well, in Portuguese.
Jack Martin (asker) Jan 25:
Thanks for the interest guys, I also had the same line of thought as Mario that it could mean "see attached" but being in the middle of the address seems odd as Phil mentions, the state follows. As for it being a typo, they made it twice, (they may have cut and pasted this part as it repeats..)
philgoddard Jan 25:
No, you're misunderstanding me. I asked if 'acerco' could be a mistake for 'oficio', and if that could mean 'office'. 'Anexo' could be 'local/secondary'.

I don't think it can mean 'certificate attached' because it's followed by MG. This is part of the description of the registry office, which is in Minas Gerais.
Mario Freitas Jan 25:
Yes, it seems what they mean is that the mentioned "Certidão" is attached. I changed my suggestion, because this makes more sense.
philgoddard Jan 25:
Google Maps shows three different addresses. Could it be 'oficio anexo', or something like that?

Mario Freitas Jan 25:
Uncle Google doesn't know it If you search for "acerco anexo" in Google, you'll get ZERO results. This indicates that it's either e typo (e.g. for "acervo anexo") or just a pure mistake.
philgoddard Jan 25:
It gets only one hit, which says 'acerco anexo con la relación de las empresas pertenecientes al grupo'.

Also a guess, but it sounds more like it. It seems they attached the mentioned "certidão" to the process. That would make more sense.
