Ich habe es fast immer nur als "mineralisierte Strukturen/Adren/Zonen/Bereiche" gesehen.

Websters say this about shears: "(physics) a deformation of an object in which parallel planes remain parallel but are shifted in a direction parallel to themselves; 'the shear changed the quadrilateral into a parallelogram'."

I also tried to find "mineralisierte Verschiebung(en)" but didn't find much. You might want to stick to "shears"; I think that the target audience is so specialized that they will understand it.

Oviously my first choice would have been \"mineralisierte Scheren\", but I couldn\'t find its use...
And I only found \"Scherverschiebung(en)\" used together with knee injuries...

How about \"Scherzelle\" as in:
