Somit kann dem Gegenstand der Ansprueche zumindest keine erfinderische Taetigkeit mit Hinblick auf die Lehre des Standes der Technik zuerkannt werden.


I have no idea what "Lehre" is supposed to mean in this context (patent/pharmaceuticals)...."science" maybe?
As for "Standes der Technik" with regard to patents would this be translated as "prior art"? That is what I was able to come up with from LEO. Thanks!

The answer is different if one translates the entire term. One could say "from what one can learn for the prior art," or "based upon what one finds (or learns from) the prior art," but my initial suggestion is much shorter and conveys essentially the same meaning.
