English term
deck
English to Spanish
Other
Materials (Plastics, Ceramics, etc.)
deck y decking
Contexto:
The Timber Decking Association (TDA), established
in 1999, is a professional interest group for the timber
industry in Great Britain. On several occasions the organization has analyzed the British market for decks and patios.
The studies show that the interest in wooden decks is greatest among homeowners in Scotland.
According to a study of 1,000 British homeowners conducted by TDA in 2001, 46 percent considered decks to be aesthetically pleasing. The most popular kind of patio according to the study was a deck attached to the house. TDA estimates that the British market for decks and patios has has 100 million British pounds (150 million euros) in annual
sales.
Decks are popular in England, but they are often expensive and difficult to build.
Now a modular system called XXXXXX, which was developed by XXXXXX, is going to change that.
