Swedish term
typgodkänd
Swedish to English
Marketing
Manufacturing
Repair manual
Instructions for repairing and maintaining a leaf-blower. The full sentence is "Maskinen är typgodkänd med avseende på säkerhet enligt gällande lagkrav med den utrustning som specificeras i anvisningen". I get the gist of the sentence - the machine is regarded as safe by the manufacturer when the equipment specified is used - but what's the exact meaning of typgodkänd?
