plantarse/ pasar/ estar servido
depende en qué instancia del juego sea puede ser diferentes cosas: si no me alcanza para abrir la mano (cuando se pide un juego mínimo para comenzar la ronda de apuestas) significa paso/ si es cuando viene el descarte, quiere decir que no quiero ninguna carta (= estar servido) y si es cuando se hace una apuesta, quiere decir que no apuesto y entonces no sigo en esa mano. Lo de pat, es porque todo esto se indica con un pequeño golpe en la mesa.

: yes, but in reference to blackjack(21) I'll stay...stand pat is a poker phrase... I am not a gambling expert....but my college-age sons would tell me that poker and blackjack are different games, whether in the casino or on-line Good luck!
