What Vancouver mostly demolished, Victoria saved, so you really do have a feast of heritage buildings to enjoy. Those architectural witnesses go from Schinkel’s classic buildings to the architectural frontpieces of I.M. Pei and Daniel Libeskind. The differences between East and West are hardly visible anymore, and the leftovers from the Wall have become a touristic attraction of its own.
