Arabic to English Social Sciences Computers (general)

Two people are trying to talk on Skype or a similar program, but they are having trouble connecting.

اه هي حطت فيشة الجهاز
بس مش بيجمع
لو حطة ممكن ميجمعش

I understand that the word means they are having trouble connecting, but I would like to know the precise meaning in the Egyptian dialect. A colleague has suggested "it doesn't work properly" or "it doesn't connect".
