Arabic term or phrase: Dar Nour
This is the name of what I think is a kind of guest house in Morocco (in a travel guide). I would like to know if the name means 'the house of light' or something of that kind.

English translation:House of light/ House of Nour
Explanation:
It could mean "House of Light", but the article "Al-" would be missing. It should be "Dar Al-Nour", "Dar El-Nour", "Dar Ennour" (same thing, different English spellings).

If you're sure it's "Dar Nour", it could be referring to the name "Nour" (which is both a boys' name and a girls' name) - so it would simply mean "House of Nour".
