Falta una mica de context. D'acord amb els meus professors de tota la vida, aquesta paraula en català només es pot referir a aquells armaris en els que deixes les coses mentres estàs al gimnàs o a classe. Tot i així, es considera un calc de l'espanyol,... però absolutament tothom l'utilitza.

La paraura correcta que designa allá on es compren entrades es "guixeta", i la seva traducció es "ticket window".

Thanks, Pilar. I went ahead and reposted the question with context before I saw your answer, but you've put me onto the word even without seeing the context. It's "locker", which is what you describe, whether at a school, gym, or workplace. By the way, the GDLC gives only the "ticket window" sense of "taquilla".
