sure, men can change their name, but when you think of it, to change your name you have to go to the authorities and it becomes legally binding. Then, with that new, legally binding name, you legally bind yourself to someone else. So your previous name is, technically, absolutely irrelevant. That is probably why such a point is not put on the UK, official certificate I found. Otherwise, for translation purposes, better to just make up something, not to anger the customer...

I know men usually do not change their surname, but there are rare exceptions. As this is written in the origianal BC, I have to translate it. In fact, there is written Vaxxxx, né Vaxxxx in the right column.

No to já taky. Tedy myslím před jméno, pokud by tento případ nastal. Ale nejde to napsat do sloupce vlevo, kde je pouze výčet toho, co se má uvést do pravého sloupce, tedy jméno (jména), příjmení, rodné jméno, datum a místo narození. Nějaký ekvivalent k maiden name.
