Dutch term

dienstmerk

Dutch to English Bus/Financial Finance (general) Dutch register controller, postgrad courses

I'm thinking along the lines of a 'seal' or a 'stamp' here, but have insufficient information to back up that hunch. Suggestions? Cheers, R.

I think the fact that it is an indication of professional qualification or membership should be emphasised

in different context, also ‘service mark’

see IATE:

• service mark: ‘type of trade mark used to distinguish certain services as those provided by a specific enterprise’
