Thanks for all your suggestions. This term has me stumped. This is from a 136 page PDF file concerning a hip operation at Albert Schweitzer hospital Zwijndrecht. The term just does not fit in with anything else on the list. I will insert a note with an explanation as I have never heard of such a term. Thanks again. Mark

The "-ie" suffix could be the effect of the class of drugs, for example in "anticoagulantie" and "anticholinergie". I'm wondering whether it's based on some kind of computer input where the "anti" prefix and "ie" suffix were provided for you onscreen, and the word "voorbeeld" should have been deleted and replaced by something else. Either way, antivoorbeeldie is a nonexistent word.

Sounds Afrikaans to me! Must be a typo if it's Dutch.
If it's part of the form, rather than something the patient has filled in themselves, could it possibly be "bij voorbeeld"? -> for example

This is not a normal Dutch word and I have never seen it.
Are you sure this is what it says?
Could you literally represent what is in your text? Perhaps including a preceding and a following phrase?


'anti-hallucinogenic drugs' would be called 'antipsychotica' in Dutch
