Mini-Teilchen Explanation: Der babbelkoek verdankt seinen Namen einer typisch niederländischen Assoziationskette: Man trifft sich zum "babbelen" auf eine Tasse Kaffee und isst dazu leckere "koekjes", die heißen daher dann "babbelkoekjes". Die Übersetzung sollte den Zwischendurch-, Nebenbei- und Naschcharakter betonen. Im Deutschen gibt es den Begriff "Teilchen", diese treten in den verschiedensten Variationen auf. Zum Kaffee werden sie extra verkleinert, damit sie als Häppchen bzw. "Finger Food" genossen werden können, daher: Mini-Teilchen.
