English term

much simpler to follow

English to Arabic Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general)
SOCIAL ENTERPRISE VALUES AND PURPOSE
Social enterprise, as a movement or way of doing, is value-led with a strong sense of social and/or environmental purpose.
What is the difference between values and purpose for social enterprise?
A social enterprise's values are often, but not necessarily, linked to its social purpose. Values are the beliefs of those involved in the enterprise, or the culture of the organisation. For example, co-operatives enshrine principals of democracy - one person one vote. Another organisation may be involved in youth training, so may place high value on 'empowerment' but it may also have environmental values so it may use low-carbon processes and procedures in its day to day operations. Most social enterprises have ethical values in their business operations.
Purpose on the other hand is much simpler to follow. Simply put it is the organisation's "reason for being". Two organisations may have similar purposes, for example, reducing homelessness, but may approach that purpose with different values and methodologies.
