Following the establishment of Saudi Arabian Land Reserves in 1979, the legal right of stock/ encampment owners to utilize the land and underlying groundwater for stock management requires confirmation. If present at the time of construction, in line with the 1979 instrument, encampments associated with the TGP and Contractor Construction Camp are likely to be required to relocate prior to the commencement of works. At this stage of the Project, access restrictions buffer zones which will be applied to transit/ grazing near the Cogeneration Facilities site have not been confirmed.
