As the text states clearly, the cash in this case is cash to be "earned" by the app user:
"the app will give you a chance to earn cash . . ."
The text addresses the app user, who will earn the cash. The point being made is about money being earned, not money being paid, hence the two suggestions I am making here, depending on your style.
If you feel more comfortable with the word "cash" stated explicitly, then I would suggest:

. . . but it is not necessary, in my opinion.
