Multi-pass sections can be created by using turning plates, with 1, 2 or 3 unholed ports.
The main purpose is to change the flow direction of one or both fluids.
For some units partition plate is required to support the unholed ports in the turning plates.
Also transition plate need to be added in the package to prevent media to get in contact with the partition or pressure
plate.
Example of use for Multi-pass can be in processes that requires longer heating periods if the media requires a slower heating.
