English term or phrase: music ministry.
Is there a commonly used expression for ministry in this sense, other than teleso or oddeleni? Neither doesn't seem to fit...
Music ministry is an entity, consisting of all the choirs, singers, musicians etc. at an individual church.

Czech translation:hudební evangelizační sekce
Explanation:
The credit should go to Radek, this is more a point for further discussion than an answer per se. In his answer, he mentions "hudební a evangelizační skupiny" which brought me to the idea that these two adjectives combined very well convey the meaning of the term and are understandable to the population at large. And yes, I would still use translator's note to explain the term in full.

ministry... below

Explanation:
knežsky uřad, duchovny stav = ministry
If your question is about ministry, that would be as you red.
Music ministry means to minister(to spread) faith, gospels by music. I ma not sure if it could be translate as nabozenska or duchovna muzika ( hudba ).
Type" music ministry" in GOOGLE. Lost of to read.

-> I don't think so, but any other reasonable explanation is fine with me. It is nothing else, only learning process. Reading GOOGLE 's offers, I might be right.

disagree  Radovan Pletka: Mila krasko, slovniky mame vsichni a hledat umime taky. Ptame se protoze nechceme strilet od boku.

-> Nikto nestriela od boku. Po debate s manzelom, je to sirenie viery spevom.

neutral  Monika@ProZ: We do not need another explanation. Martina did a good job explaining to us what she needs us to translate (and in correct English, which makes it easier to read).

-> Yes, we need more explanation, otherwise it will be not proper translation. Only guessing.

hudebníci

Explanation:
I think there is not an expression that would fit the explanation. Hudební těleso is not suitable - it means one choir, or one band. Hudební tělesa (plural) might be better, but it does not include individuals (e.g. organist). What about "všichni hudebníci"?

hudební sekce, sbor a podpůrné služby

Explanation:
Hudební sekce zní poněkud vznešeněji než oddělení, ohvězdičkoval bych to a do poznámek překladatele bych napsal dlouhou a podrobnou litanii, popisujici celou situaci, zvláště pokud jste placena za slovo.
Určitě bych ale také zavolal do několika velkých kostelů různé víry a také někam na bohosloveckou fakultu

Našel jsem i reference:
K rozvíjení další služby se tvoří ve sborech skupiny pracovníků, pěvecké sbory, hudební a evangelizační skupiny, misijní, biblické a modlitební kroužky apod.

neutral  Monika@ProZ: And your suggestion is?!! To leave it in the original? I have not noticed that anyone would be disputing the explanation of the term provided in the question itself, or am I missing something?
2 hrs
-> My suggestion is, as I said before : it is: sirenie nabozenstva hudbou, which is close to your "hudebni....,which we can understand as " cirkevni orchestr " , "cirkevni hudba". More at www.cb.cz
