Change log

Jun 16, 2005 16:13: vixen changed "Level" from "PRO" to "Non-PRO"

Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (3): Zsanett Rozendaal-Pandur, Ljiljana Malovic, vixen

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Discussion

Ljiljana Malovic Jun 16, 2005:
Besides, it's not medical at all - if you hadn't mentioned that in your explanation... For that part, it could very well be a welcome sentence of any particular study. Not only a PuLsE.
Zsanett Rozendaal-Pandur Jun 16, 2005:
Just a note for future reference: this question is not PRO-level. Please check the guidelines regarding PRO vs. non-PRO. http://www.proz.com/support?&mode=kudoz#kudoz_easy_pro

Thx
agree Zsanett Rozendaal-Pandur : The same category as Henk's first two suggestions. I personally like the "hartelijk dank" start.

So do I. It's both polite and direct.

Peer comment(s):

agree Zsanett Rozendaal-Pandur : Choose either of the first two suggestions. The last two are (perhaps just for the fun of it) somewhat exaggerated. Their English equivalent would be something like "We are highly grateful for your willingness to collaborate in this study."

Peer comment(s):

neutral Zsanett Rozendaal-Pandur : Put it this way: this option feels too definite compared to the original sentence. I don't see a reason to leave out the "agreeing" bit. It adds an extra aspect to the sentence, which might, or might not, be put there with a reason.

Nou nee, niet als het, zoals aangegeven, op de eerste bladzijde van het dagboek staat
