J'ai surtout rencontré l'expression « walk-around inspection » (plutôt que l'expression ici écourtée de « walk around »). Voici un exemple, issu du « Transportation Safety Board of Canada » : http://www.tsb-bst.gc.ca/eng/rapports-reports/aviation/1998/... L'équivalent français proposé est « inspection extérieure » (voir version française disponible).
