English term or phrase: Heritage Ceremonial Costumes: Keeping Identity Alive in Canada
This is the title of a project which describes ceremonial costumes used in festivals like Inti Raymi, and the Oruro Carnival of Bolivia.

I need to translate especially the second sentence but "manteniendo" seems to be a calque from the English gerund. Please help. Thank you!

Costumes Cérémoniels Patrimoniaux : Préserver l'Identité au Canada

Explanation:
The term "Préserver l'Identité" is used instead of a direct translation of "keeping" (maintenir) to avoid the calque from the English gerund and to provide a more natural expression in French that conveys the ongoing effort to maintain cultural identity.

In museum exhibits, especially those focusing on cultural heritage and traditions, titles are crafted to not only describe the content but also to invoke interest and convey the exhibit's thematic significance.

Happy translating!

-> Well, no, that's not from AI. I have provided the valid explanation for the context being asked. Also, I have translated similar content for one of my clients so had an idea about it.

Explanation:
Concerning an alternative term for "Heritage ceremonial costume" I've found this, which I thought could be interesting : "Le terme régalia est utilisé pour signifier le caractère cérémonial du vêtement et des accessoires" → https://www.patrimoine-culturel.gouv.qc.ca/rpcq/detail.do?me...
