: ça ne se dit pas en français, supprimer les mauvaises herbes. On les retire ou on les élimine. Vous pouvez supprimer des fichiers mais pas de mauvaises herbes....

Ce n'est pas l'objet de la question, mais permettez à un botaniste-jardinier amateur de planter une graine ici : s'il s'agit d'un texte technique plutôt que d'une généralisation grand public, il serait préférable d'utiliser le terme « adventice », plus technique que les mauvaises herbes et autres herbes folles. Cf. par exemple : https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adventice.
De toute manière, « désherbage » seul suffit ici. Quelque chose comme : « Réunion avec le ministre des Infrastructures à propos du projet de désherbage le long de [National Highway]. »
