Thanks for your comments. It might be an error from the client, but rigging is actually the structure here, I'm sure of it. And "rigging" is used in French for the structure, I'm just looking for a French term, if any.
Having worked for years in and around the industry, I am totally convinced that 'rigging' here (as one of the tasks of a roadie) refers to the action of rigging equipment, and has nothing to do with any specific item of this equipment.
Gril : en rock, ensemble mécanique supportant perches, ponts, au-dessus de la scène servant à accrocher les projecteurs, les décors, les pendrillons, les frises, les taps, les retours son...
Workers responsible for the setting, hanging and focussing of lighting instruments and constructing scaffolding used in making film sets. http://www.termwiki.com/index.php/EN:Rigger this might help for a start!
In the biz, we don't usually use 'rigging' to describe any physical structure, but rather the action of instaling the lights, etc.
Try searching the archive, we'e had similar terms before, like 'get in' and 'get out', 'strike', etc., and I feel sure the discussions there would help you
Yes you're right, I put "etc." because the rigging is not only for lights but also for other equipments. I didn't put enough details. We don't have a full sentence because it's just a list of actions some characters do depending on their job (here: a roadie). The venue is a stage for a rock gig.

rigging...

I am somewhat surprised to read in the question that rigging is "la structure où les techniciens accrochent les éclairages, etc. d'une scène". rigging is a broader concept that just 'where they hang the lights' - it includes all the wiring, sound systems, etc. etc. including equipment on the ground or elsewhere.
I suggest that it would be helpful to see 'rigging' in the context of the complete English sentence (better still: the full paragraph), so we tell if it's being used in the conventional language of stage hands or the improper useage of casual observers.
It will also be relevant to know if the venue is a theatre, a TV studio, a one-off open-air stage, or whatever...

structure/pont
Explanation: Bonjour!

Rigging is a term for work and equipment related to a theatrical fly system. It exists primarily to move lights, sets, and drape to a stage or above it into a fly loft.
