1 PREPARE THE MOTHERBOARD
Unpack the motherboard and place it on your workspace. Make sure that you have plenty of room around you to work.
2UNPACK THE PROCESSOR
Leave the processor in its protective packaging until you are ready to install it. Do not touch the sticky layer on the bottom of the cooler.
3LOCATE THE PROCESSOR SLOT
Find where the processor sits. Note the arm that hooks into the side of the case. Lift this and remove the plastic warning notice.
4PREPARE THE PROCESSOR SLOT
Open the processor housing. Lift up any edging. Take note where the ‘pin one triangle’ is located.
5CONNECT THE PROCESSOR
Remove the processor’s packaging, exposing the connectors. Line the ‘pin one triangle’ up with the motherboard and lower it into the slot.
6CLOSE THE PROCESSOR HOUSING
Lower the edging over the processor and push down the arm. Ensure that it locks into place to complete the installation.

Ci dessous tu trouveras des liens sur l'installation d'un CPU (fr/En). Beaucoup de manuels ne sont maintenant qu'en anglais...
L'emplacement du CPU a peut-être évolué sur certaines cartes, mais de base, il y a un capot, un levier et un loquet de verrouillage (cf schémas sur liens).
Maintenant chaque constructeur a ses habitudes d'écriture et le texte anglais provient souvent d'une autre langue quelques fois plus "fleurie". Je pense que si tu peux obtenir des schémas ou des photos de ton client ce sera plus parlant ... Bon courage!
