This a translation from English into French, from a scenario where a technician is talking to another technician about an intervention to be done on a car.
I get that "top of the hour" can mean "à l'heure pile" in French, but I am having a hard time translating it in the context.

Mais ici, l'expression est tout simplement 'on top of' = 'en plus de...'
Donc 1h était prévu au départ, mais vu l'intervention supplémentaire, le client veux savoir combien de temps il va falloir en plus (de ce qui avait été initialement prévu)
