" The proposal for aid to improve the facilities for the slaughtering of pigs and the processing of pigmeat in the United Kingdom and France, is one of a number of measures proposed by the Commission for structural improvement in various parts of the Community. Among these measures is the comprehensive structural package for the West of Ireland which will directly benefit pigmeat processing projects in that area and indirectly make funds available for such projects in other parts of the country. The West of Ireland package was adopted by the Council at its meeting from 28 to 30 May."

No I am not trying to do my homework using ProZ I am trying to find help on a sentence I am unable to understand. This is the reason why I put very little informations about the context to not feel like getting the work done by someone else.
The theme of the text I have to translate is social science which is the reason why I put that under 'social science'.

Reminds me of why on some exams I passed (years ago) you were allowed any and all books you could manage to cram on your desk – the catch being that you still needed to be able to find the relevant information quickly enough.
plus ça change plus c'est pareil - nowadays with the Net you have the equivalent of few cubic kilometers of books on your desk and still you need to be able to find the relevant information quickly enough.

Is this part of the same text as in your other question about "shadow assembly"? Can you give the whole sentence where "The West of Ireland package" is used?
