English term or phrase: cuts of edges (in a graph)
Hello,

I know that edges are segments in a graph, but I can't seem to find what are the cuts of these edges in the following sentence:

minimizing the cuts of edges between the vertices in the graph.

Would it be "coupures d'arêtes" ? "découpe des aretes" ?

Merci beaucoup !
