C'est le sens que je vois au mot "trip" dans ce contexte. Ce mot veut parfois dire "trébucher" ou "déraper".

... à moins que le nouveau gardien ait l'habitude de faire un "trip" avec une de la mari ou quelque autre drogue (terme utilisé au Canada).
