In the following context in a "Delegation of Authority Guide":
For contracts with terms outside these guidelines obtain endorsement from (name of department) and final review at a minimum of Profile 5. In the absence of (name of dept.) endorsement, business lines may proceed provided they obtain functional management endorsement of the exception and final review of the contract, at one profile level higher .....
It must mean a department (departments) of some kind, but I can't fathom it out.
Any help anyone?
