English to German Medical Medical: Pharmaceuticals

Das kommt in einer Befragung von Patienten zu klinischen Studien in folgendem Kontext vor:

"I will now walk you through the high-level flow of the program:
Imagine you would begin the study tomorrow in Part 1, lasting 3 months.
If you are interested, you may be eligible to move to Part 2, lasting 9 months.
After that, and if you are interested, you may also be eligible to move into Part 3, for up to four and a half years."

Mir ist nicht ganz klar, was high-level hier bedeutet. Und gibt es einen entsprechenden Fachbegriff?
