English term

whatever

Non-PRO English to Greek Other Idioms / Maxims / Sayings teenspeak idiom
The Online slang Dictionary describes its various uses thus:-

interjection
'An interjection used for almost anything anymore. (1) "I don't care," (2) "Yeah right! (sarcasm)" (3) Tacked at the end of a listing of things, like etc.
1) Speaker: Do you want to go uptown?
Response: (shrugs shoulders) "Whatever."
2) Huh? You want me to share this with you. Whatever!
3) Bring chips, cookies, pop; whatever.
4) I caught her cheating and she said, "whatever."
It constitutes a complete sentence or singular remark given in apathy by someone indifferent to others feelings or actions. Seems to be favoured by teens and adolescents. But I heard it used by two adults this very day in a local supermarket!
Whatever...
It is also used as a dismissive retort, meaning; "Shut up and go away." So it is also merely a sarcastic comeback.

Is there also in Greek a short word or phrase, which would fit the contexts here described i.e.
a brief dismissive colloquial phrase, generally a sentence in its own right; in effect an interjection, often but not always, "used as a passive-aggressive conversational blocking tool, leaving the responder without a convincing retort." (see Wikipedia under
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whatever_(slang).

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "A plethora of idioms from both contributors! All are useful. I stuppose that transphy's και! is nearest to the abrupt usage of whatever but ο, τι να 'ναι seems to cover many contexts. It is hard to avoid. among so many alternatives, hitting on the right expression. I don't think that ό, τι έγινε, έγινε means 'whatever' so much as 'water under the bridge'."
