אהבת חבר / אהבת רעים / אחוות רעים Explanation: Ahavas Chaverus is not proper Hebrew. My suggestions would transliterate to: אהבת חבר = Ahavat Chaver = love of a [male] friend. אהבת רעים = Ahavat Re'im (Re'im is p. of friend) = love of friends. אחוות רעים = Achvat Re'im (Achva = brotherly love, friendship, brotherhood, brotherliness, fellowship). -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2009-08-28 19:57:55 GMT) Post-grading -------------------------------------------------- As Ron suggested, רעות could also work, but אחוות רעים connotes (to me) a deeper appreciation or bonding, if you will, whilst רעות is a very lyrical and beautiful word for friendship. |
