परजीवी

Virus can also be called परजीवी because viruses are not considered to be independent living organisms.
So in microbiological terms we can call it परजीवी (PARASITE)
Note from asker:
But bacteria as well as many other anils are also called viruses
True that viruses are intermediate between living and non living but they are at the same time parasites which are smaller than bacteria and non-nucleated.

disagree Binod Ringania : virus can not be translated as parjivi, because 'parjivi' is being used for parasite. Virus are considered organisms between living and non-living things.
