In addition to the significant proportion of domestic demand, various ski destinations – based on their geographical location, market position and marketing activities – target different foreign feeder markets.

We are of the opinion that future demand for the region in winter will be influenced primarily by further development of competitive accommodation supply and ski facilities, the evolution of disposable income of potential visitors in the key feeder markets and the long-term evolution of weather conditions. We assume that the significant proportion of Hungarian guests will remain or even grow in the future, on the other hand, future growth of demand needs to increase visitation from other promising feeder markets such as the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland.
