Coefficiente di disallineamento Explanation: "Gap weigth" = "coefficiente di pesatura una discrepanza" "lenght weight" = "coefficiente di pesatura numero delle discrepanze" Sbirciando le pagine internet mi pare di capire che qui il termine "Gap" si riferisce ad una discrepanza tra due sequenze chimiche (proteine, RNA, ...). La valutazione del grado di all'allineamento tra due sequenze viene fatto pesando opportunamente le loro reciproche irregolarità; in base al tipo della sequenza stessa e al loro numero.
