Buonasera, ho trovato questa frase in un elenco delle cose a cui una donna ha dovuto rinunciare da quando ha conosciuto suo marito. Purtroppo non c'è altro contesto da fornire. Credo che il senso sia quello dell'aver rinunciato a un corso di studi presso l'istituto di tecnologia del Massachusetts. Confermate? Grazie mille

Non so se sia interessata o meno perché è una frase fine a se stessa. Tutto dipende dal significato che può assumere l'espressione "full ride" a questo punto... Grazie

doubts I've thought the same at first sight but then... why going to the MIT just for a full ride? one goes there to study a course, or is she likely to be satisfied with a visit to the premises only? Is this woman inclined or interested in scientific work?
