se c'è qualcuno in ascolto dagli Usa, mi permetto di chiedere di nuovo una cosetta già chiesta in GE>IT, è che sono in fase di consegna e le mie ricerche valgono perciò poco:

si parla della costa di fronte alla Barrier Islands:

Sund è il nome d'un fiume o no?
Oregon Inlet: che sarà mai? Si lascia così in it.?

In tedesco la frase suona così: sull'/all'Oregon Inlet s'incontrano il Sund (o sund) e l'Atlantico. L'autostrada che unisce le outer banks è costruita su trampoli? (forse: pilastri speciali? boh)
se poi qc. conosce pure l'autostrada, vengo a Ocracoke a offrigli un caffè italiano!!!

Per quanto riguarda sund ho solo scoperto che la Outer Banks di fronte a Oregon Inlet si chiama Palmico Sound. Vedi questo sito http://www.frf.usace.army.mil/oregoninlet/oregoninlet.stm
