fu deposto


Explanation:
nel senso di sepolto credo, anche se l'espressione in realtà significa che fu esposto come si fa per i defunti per la commemorazione, ma trattandosi di un morto per febbre endemica credo si possa ritenere che fu deposto nella chiesa citata e qui seppellito.
