Explanation:
trovi diversi riscontri con il termine in inglese; di fatto sono i battiti in serie, da opporre a quelli isolati.

There is a particular part of the heart called the SA Node. The SA node creates an electrical impulse that travels through the heart and causes the heart to beat once. If an electrical impulse is created by another part of the heart, that is called an "ectopic beat." It is generally caused by an irritability of the heart muscle. Any number of things can cause this irritability.

The heart has four chambers. Two small chambers called "atria" and two large chambers called "ventricles." A "supraventricular ectopic beat" is a hearbeat that is caused by an ectopic impules that occurs somewhere above the level of the ventricles.

A "run" is a term that refers to a series of only ectopic beats with no beats from the SA node. This is usually not a good thing. Its good that you had no runs.

Most, but not all manufacturers use one Huffman table
(the default), even though it seems to be a lazy choice.
When the analysis program in the ECG device does not
fail, it seems to be more productive in terms of signal
compression to use the median beat subtraction (except
when there is a high number of non-dominant beats, i.e.
ectopic runs or bigeminy episodes). In this case the

So, a "run" = number of beats?

Extrasistoli sopraventricolari - battiti in sequenza

Explanation:
