Il nome sarebbe "fisi" o volgarmente "cartilagine di accrescimento" o "di coniugazione" Qui puoi trovare qualche indicazione: https://books.google.it/books?id=R1g-6VgBCqwC&pg=PA4&lpg=PA4... "Incurie" non è molto frequente, si trova in :https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/french-english/... e significa "carelessness". Personalmente, dato il contesto, lo renderei con "lesione", quindi "lesione delle fisi", che accade di frequente in quanto la fisi è la parte più fragile dell'osso (https://www.msdmanuals.com/it-it/professionale/traumi-avvele...
