It's a solvent that has suitable quality for High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC).
So i would say "adatto" or "di qualita' compatibile..ecc ecc"

I am a Research Tech for a San Diego based Biotechnology Company. My job is to purify proteins using applications such as HPLC and FPLC, and any other chromatography column that is on the market today. LiChrosolv® is Merck's brand name for LIquid CHROmatography SOLVents (thus the acronym) that are specifically designed for HPLC applications. In reality they are just solvents (i.e water, acetone) and accessories (bottles, dipsticks) for such applications. I still strongly believe the GRADE refers to the level of purity achieved with the intent of not ruining the VERY expensive gel filtration columns. hope this helps.

Note from asker:
I'm afraid it refers to the product rather that to the Hplc application |
