Buongiorno a tutti, prima di chiedere al cliente di rivedere il testo sorgente volevo accertarmi che anche voi trovaste la frase che vi riporto sotto confusa e ridondante. Sto traducendo la sinossi di un protocollo di studio clinico, in particolare la sezione relativa agli aspetti statistici. La prima parte della frase è chiara "Ipotizzando un tasso storico di controllo del xx% per l’ORR e un ORR a XX (nome del farmaco) del xx%, questo studio dovrà arruolare almeno xx pazienti per ottenere una potenza del xx% a un livello alfa unilaterale di xx" e qui inizia la parte che mi sta creando problemi "using an exact binomial test in ORR with approximately xx% [stessa percentuale di prima] power using a 1-sided exact binomial test at a significance level of xx [stesso valore di prima]". Siete d'accordo con me o mi sfugge qualcosa? Grazie mille per qualsiasi suggerimento. Marianna.

Explanation:
Sì, obiettivamente sembra che dica la stessa cosa due volte, però tieni conto che nella prima parte si "ipotizza", nella seconda dice esattamente il tipo di test da utilizzare e i valori che avranno una significanza statistica. Quindi secondo me devi mettere entrambe le parti della frase.
