Further described is an adhesive sheet material comprising a sheet layer having apertures (or, in other words, a "breathing" sheet layer), and an adhesive coating layer with apertures corresponding to at least part of the apertures of said sheet layer, *provided on* one side of said sheet layer having apertures, (as such, without removable protective sheet layer), wherein said apertures in said adhesive coating layer constitute portions of a substantially continuous adhesive coating layer provided on said sheet layer having apertures, separated from said continuous adhesive coating layer by remaining adhered to a protective sheet layer temporarily *provided to* at least said portions of said substantially continuous adhesive coating layer, upon removal of said protective sheet layer.
