Tech/Engineering - Computers: Software
English term or phrase: cross-side
Despite this restriction, multiviews can also be created cross-side.

------------------

This is just a part of a manual for software to control cameras installed at separate locations. I think I do not have to give out further cotext as the sentence is self-explanatory, but I'm not so sure of the meaning of "cros-side". I do not suppose the author is a native English speaker, but possibly a German. Could anyone clarify?

Thank you.

This is not a translation of the term "cross side". This is my assumption of what they are trying to say. Hope it helps

Thank you very much, I think it's probably not a very common term to be used in English. meanwhile, I went with interpretation of its being placed side-by-side. Thank you for help! -

I think he is referring to the ability of a camera to capture a view of the oppposite side. Very low guess.
