English term

Coverture

English to Malay Other Law: Contract(s)
Hello,

Does anyone know the suitable Malay translation for this word, "Coverture"?
The complete sentence is "Coverture is the law that prevented a woman from owning property after she got married"...

After some research, I obtain one translation for coverture, which is "Bersuami'... is this correct?
Do I use "Bersuami" or just "Coverture"? Or is there is any other appropriate translation?

Thanks in advance!

Since PRPM does not have a word suggested, it is possible said word has no readily available match. Thus, it is better to translate it by transliterate it into Malay while keeping the original word, with introducing a new term to others in mind. Since it follows with an explanation of said word, you should not have problem by doing so.
Example sentence:

Kovertur (Coverture) ialah sejenis undang-undang yang menghalang wanita daripada memiliki hartanah selepas dia bersuami.
