Trudno mi wyobraźić sobie tę konstrukcję, ale chyba chodzi o to, że mogą istnieć pełnomocnictwa udzielone przed pojawieniem się ustawy, które w jakiś sposób można podciągnąć pod ustawę np. skłądając wniosek. Czy to ma jakąś polską nazwę? Czy mamy jakiś podobny mechanizm? Czy ktoś ma pomysł na jakiś sensowny ekwiwalent?

Apparently, land ownership was governed by different laws before 1952. Powers of attorney granted before 1952 are still valid for lands whose legal status is now governed by the Public Act of 1952.

Here, it explains that Deeds system applied before 1952, and the Land Transfer Act applied thereafter:
Practically all privately owned land in New Zealand is now under the Land Transfer Act and any land remaining in the Deeds system is there either because of historical reasons, for example occupation inside surveyed boundaries, or because it was not economically viable for an application to be made.
