Luckily one of the members of the panel was American from Johns Hopkins. He went back to Haiti, where he used the vaccine and he found the same thing and Canadians in Sudan found similar observations, so just one year later WHO withdrew the vaccine. There were no real explanations that just went back and interestingly they made no attempt to understand what has happened.

  -> Not having the benefit of your ears, I had to extrapolate/interpolate, weave and bob, and try to make sense based upon the surrounding context. Having ears of a bat is indispensable for this job.
