Disclosure of unused material in criminal investigations
The disclosure officer has a duty to create schedules which list all the relevant material from the investigation. They must also identify all material from the schedules which satisfies the disclosure test and explain why they have come to that view. They must submit the schedules and copies of disclosable material to the prosecutor. In particular they must supply to the prosecutor a copy of material falling into any of the categories described in paragraph 7.3 of the Code.
